The intense brilliance and depth of this Saint Laurent ‘Privilège’ 2022, with its deep ruby colour, is immediately appealing. On the palate, it has a round, silky texture, carried by aromas of ripe red fruit - cherry, raspberry, redcurrant - delicately enhanced by mellow woody notes. Barrel ageing adds a subtle touch of vanilla and an elegant structure, without masking the fruity character of the grape variety. The whole is harmonious, with a long, lingering finish. Drink now, but with the potential to age for several years.
